The agency provides a monitoring document to follow the latest research on cases of acute hepatitis of unknown origin affecting children under 10 years of age in several countries around the world.

The ANRS | Emerging Infectious Diseases has been mobilized since the first cases of hepatitis in children were reported in April 2022.

A group of experts was created, including virologists, adenovirus specialists, hepatologists and pediatricians, and meets regularly.

A document, updated regularly, is set up to follow the evolution of the research on this new pathogen. The document gathers general information, scientific articles and reports and relays links to the most relevant sites.
