Les travaux soutenus par l’agence présentés à la CROI 2022

La CROI, la conférence internationale sur les rétrovirus et les infections opportunistes, a lieu du 12 au 16 février 2022. Dix-huit travaux soutenus par l’ANRS | Maladies infectieuses émergentes ont été retenus pour y être présentés.

Effect of direct acting antivirals on HCV incidence among people living with HIV

En analysant les données de six cohortes de l‘International Collaboration on Hepatitis C Elimination in HIV-coinfection (InCHEHC) incluant les données des Pays-Bas, de la Suisse, de l’Australie, de l’Espagne et de la France, les chercheurs ont montré que ces pays étaient en bonne voie pour atteindre l’objectif d’élimination de l’incidence de l’infection par le virus de l’hépatite C (VHC). L’introduction des antiviraux à action direct a permis de faire baisser l’incidence de cette infection. Des efforts restent cependant nécessaires pour la réduire encore davantage.
