Global Health EDCTP3 JU: The new Work Programme for 2024 has been published - 7 ongoing calls for projects

What matters

The Global Health EDCTP3 partnership (EDCTP: The European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership) has published its 2024 Work Programme, including 7 calls for projects with submission in a two-stage application process. These calls cover 6 Research and Innovation actions and one Support and Coordination action.

Here is the list of calls:

  • Developing novel, innovative HIV therapeutics for reducing the disease burden of HIV in sub-Saharan Africa (4 selected projects for €5.5M each)
  • Research on existing Malaria vaccines and development of new promising candidates (2 selected projects for €15M each)
  • Accelerating development and integration of therapeutics against Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) in sub-Saharan Africa (4 selected projects for €5M each)
  • Tackling Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) through R&D in novel and existing antimicrobials (4 selected projects for €6M each)
  • New tools, technologies and approaches for vector control in sub-Saharan Africa (3 selected projects for €6.14M each)
  • Innovative digital health solutions for sub-Saharan Africa (4 selected projects for €5M each)
  • Global Health EDCTP3 JU training fellowship with return phase (1 selected project for €3.5M)

Submission is a two-stage application process. The stage-1 deadline is 4 April 2024.

On 6 February 2024, the European Commission will be organising an information meeting to present the calls. For further information.

The French Ministry of Higher Education and Research will also be organising an information and presentation meeting on the calls on 7 February 2024, followed by a networking session for those interested in the various calls. For further information.
