In brief

New online directories list researchers from the various scientific networks of Inserm’s Immunology, Inflammation, Infectiology and Microbiology (I3M) Thematic Institute. The aim? To bring together expertise and promote contact between members of these networks.

Making expertise visible

In order to facilitate the establishment of new collaborations within its networks, IT I3M wanted to list all of its active members on a single directory platform accessible to everyone online on its website.

The platform currently lists three directories, respectively grouping together the members of the Francophone Network on Neglected Tropical Diseases, the Coordinated Action on Malaria and the Thematic Network on Viruses & the Brain. The latter is of particular interest to the ANRS MIE scientific community.

Each registered person can indicate their research topics and expertise in relation to the selected networks. They benefit from a complete information and contact sheet in order to increase the visibility of their research. An interactive map even allows them to locate the structure in which they work. All this provides an overview of the research topics and technologies developed within each network.

IT I3M wishes to expand the scope of this directory platform by gradually adding new networks. The Immunology and Climate Change & Infectious Diseases networks, the latter which is linked to institutional partners including a strong support from the ANRS MIE, will be the next networks to go online.
