The Coordinated Action on Viral Hepatitis (CA45) was established in 2023. Its objective is to coordinate clinical and therapeutic research on hepatitis B, D and other viral hepatitis.
It is structured around four working groups dealing with issues identified as research priorities. The main themes are prevention, screening, access to care, treatment of hepatitis B and D, natural history and hepatic comorbidities, and specificities in low– and middle–income countries.
AC45 is committed to cross–disciplinary work with other coordinated actions of ANRS MIE.
CA45’s activity is structured around two main areas: scientific coordination and project support.
To this end, it has set itself four objectives:
