The ANRS MIE has made supporting the next generation of scientists a strategic priority by mobilising resources and implementing specific actions to encourage their engagement and development within its research scope. The Start programme encompasses all actions specifically dedicated to support junior researchers.
In this context, the “Master’s grants – International Network” call (Fellowships funding scheme 2026) aims to award grants to help fund a year of master’s degree for professionals and students from low and middle income countries working or wishing to work on the agency’s thematic areas.
It aims to open up opportunities for the selected candidates to advance their careers in research, in close collaboration with the partners of the ANRS MIE International Network (Partner Sites and PRISME (International Research Platforms in Global Health)).
Applications are expected from professionals and students, either already involved in the research activities of a Partner Site/PRISME or wishing to start a new collaboration with these partners.
Candidates must respond by selecting one internship offer among those proposed by the Partner Sites and PRISME of the International Network (see “Download internship offers”).
For the 2026 edition, the internship offers are provided in collaboration with the following Partner Sites and PRISME:
