Coordinated Action on Tuberculosis - Meeting on ‘New Therapeutic and Vaccine Strategies’

March 3rd 2026, in BioPark (Paris).

Main points

The ‘New Therapeutic and Vaccine Strategies’ working group (WG3) of the ANRS MIE’s Coordinated Action on Tuberculosis, coordinated by Maryline Bonnet and Alain Baulard, is organising a thematic day devoted to vaccines and immunotherapeutic approaches to tuberculosis.

  • Date: 3 March 2026 (in person and via videoconference)
  • Location: BioPark (Paris & Tocadéro Room, 8, rue de la CroixJarry, 75013 Paris)

The aim of this meeting is to structure and stimulate exchanges between teams working on these topics, to better map the expertise and approaches developed in France, and to encourage the emergence of new collaborations. The day will combine oral presentations, short ‘flash talks’ and an interactive round table discussion focusing on a few key areas:

  1. the most relevant experimental models for the study and evaluation of anti-TB vaccines and immunotherapies;
  2. innovative technologies and tools for analysing the immune response;
  3. immunological targets and emerging vaccine strategies;
  4. and the challenges of translational research and the transition to clinical practice.

This day is intended to be an open space for collective reflection to identify current obstacles, establish research priorities and identify topics for further exploration in future, more targeted symposia. It is part of a desire to strengthen community cohesion and support the development of innovative strategies against tuberculosis.

To enrich theflash talkssession, we invite you to submit your abstracts (~150 words) on one of the abovementioned themes by clicking on the button below. Registration is free but mandatory.
