On the occasion of the launch of the new coordinated action (CA) “Diagnostic, Therapeutic, and Vaccine Viral Targets” by ANRS MIE, chaired by Bruno Canard (Aix-Marseille University / CNRS) and Delphine Planas (Institut Pasteur), a launch day will be held on December 12, 2024, at the Institut Pasteur in Paris. The goal of this event is to bring together and strengthen the topics and themes of the coordinated action through sessions focused on sharing progress and addressing challenges encountered in identifying viral targets.

This event, designed to foster cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary research, will bring together participants from various scientific fields such as chemistry, virology, structural biology, and bioinformatics. The goal of this day is to unite and reinforce the topics and themes of the coordinated action (CA) through sessions focused on exchanging insights regarding advancements and challenges encountered in identifying viral targets.

In collaboration with stakeholders involved in technology and product development, the coordinated action (CA) aims to structure interdisciplinary research that promotes the translation of fundamental research data into the development of diagnostic tools, treatments, and vaccines.
