Extension of the partnership between ANRS MIE and WHO

On 21 November 2023, during the meetings of the Strategic and Technical Advisory Group on HIV, Viral hepatitis and Sexually transmitted infections (STAG-HHS) and the Global Clinical Trials Forum of WHO in Geneva, Prof. Yazdan Yazdanpanah, Director of ANRS MIE, met Prof. Jérôme SALOMON, Assistant Director-General of WHO, Dr. Tereza Kasaeva, Director of the Global Tuberculosis Programme (WHO/GTB), and Dr. Meg Doherty, Director of the Global HIV, Hepatitis and STIs Programmes (WHO/HHS) to extend the partnership signed in June 2022 between ANRS MIE and WHO to add tuberculosis to the existing domains of HIV, hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections.
This memorandum of understanding is the second signed between WHO/HHS and ANRS MIE, reaffirming the cooperation between France and WHO, signed on 31 December 2019 on the establishment of a strengthened partnership for 2020-2025.
