This Coordinated Action focuses on basic and translational research in the field of viral hepatitis, which remains a major public health problem.
Its objectives are to:
The AC42 operates in the form of themed days open to the entire community, held three times a year. These meetings are a continuation of previous working groups and cover all topics related to fundamental and translational research on viral hepatitis.
The topics covered include:
Beyond sharing knowledge, the central objective of AC42 is to make these days a space for discussion and collective reflection, promoting open and interactive exchanges. The thematic days are thus designed as places for ideas to mature, where research programmes can be discussed at a very early stage, even at the concept or initial hypothesis stage. Led by members of the AC42 board and experts in the field, these days aim to:
AC42 thus positions itself as a catalyst for collaborative projects, with the ambition of mobilising the community to develop strong collective initiatives capable of responding to the major scientific challenges associated with the fight against viral liver infections.
