France–Brazil 2025: seminar on Franco-Brazilian cooperation and scientific days of the ANRS MIE partner site in Brazil.
From 01 to 03 October 2025
From 1 to 3 October 2025, Fortaleza will host the 31st France–Brazil Technical-Scientific Cooperation Seminar and the 9th Scientific Day of the ANRS MIE partner site in Brazil. These meetings will mark the official creation of PRISME France–Brazil and the start of work to define the governance structure of PRISME France–Brazil.
These events, labelled Season France–Brazil 2025, are supported by the authorities of both countries and highlight the projects carried out jointly by French and Brazilian teams, with a focus on infectious diseases, the promotion of young researchers and the border areas between Brazil and French Guiana.
Organised annually by the Ministry of Health, the French Embassy in Brazil and ANRS MIE, these scientific events provide an opportunity for Brazilian and French research teams involved in infectious disease research to exchange ideas. The aim of this cooperation seminar and scientific conference is to highlight the projects being carried out, address current research priorities and identify opportunities for collaboration between Brazil and France.
The conference can be attended in person (by specific invitation) or remotely (see below).
