Start Day meeting

We invite you to participate in the second meeting of the Start Day of the ANRS Emerging infectious diseases on March 31, 2025, at the Institut Pasteur.

With a convivial approach and science as its central theme, this meeting is dedicated to become a key event for bringing together and federating the next generation of scientific researchers around the agency’s themes: HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, STIs, tuberculosis and emerging infectious diseases.

For the second consecutive year, the ANRS MIE organizes this event just before the 2025 Scientific Days to offer the young scientific community an opportunity for development, networking, and exchange.

Following the network meeting, you are invited to participate in the Scientific Days on April 1 and 2, 2025. This year, special attention will be given to the next generation of researchers, with a focus on promoting the Start program. Several initiatives are planned, including a poster space dedicated to young scientists and an exchange corner to facilitate meetings and discussions.

The event will be held exclusively in person, with presentations given in French or in English, depending on the speakers.

Call for posters

As part of the ANRS Emerging infectious diseases Start Network Day, we are inviting young researchers to present their work in poster form. These will be displayed in the hall of the Institut Pasteur’s International Conference Center, where the agency’s 2025 Scientific Days will be held. This will be a valuable opportunity to showcase your research, present your results and exchange ideas with the scientific community, which will be present over the two days.

Deadline for submission (in digital format): 08/03/2025

Poster submissions are offered as part of ANRS MIE’s support for young researchers. They are therefore reserved for early-career scientists and are subject to the following eligibility criterion: being at a career stage between a Master’s 2 and up to 8 years post-PhD.

Expected format:

  • Dimensions (special vertical format): width 70cm x height 100cm
  • Language: French or English
  • Framework: a framework is available (2 choices) for download here
  • Submission format: high-resolution PDF file
  • Content: the poster must include a clear title, the names and affiliations of the authors, an introduction, methodology, results, discussion and references if necessary.
  • Printing: ANRS MIE will print your poster and display it on site.
  • Closing: you will be able to leave with your poster at the end of the Scientific Days.
