ANRS MIE 2025 Scientific Days

April 1-2, 2025 at the Institut Pasteur Conference Center in Paris

From 01 to 02 April 2025

2025 Scientific Days of the ANRS Emerging infectious diseases

The ANRS Emerging infectious diseases (ANRS MIE) 2025 Scientific Days will take place from April 1 to 2, 2025 at the Institut Pasteur’s Conference Center (CIS) in Paris. This edition will be entirely dedicated to the international dimension of research, a key theme for the agency since its creation.

The challenges of international research

You are now invited to register for our major annual event: the ANRS Emerging infectious diseases 2025 Scientific Days. They will be held on 1st and 2nd April at the Institut Pasteur conference centre in Paris.

The 2025 edition will be entirely dedicated to the international dimension of research, a key theme for the agency since its creation.

The various sessions have been devised by the Scientific Committee, whose commitment we would like to pay tribute to. In a context marked by an increase in the frequency of epidemic risks and the growing impact of environmental and societal crises on public health, research must adapt, cooperate and innovate.

This year’s event will focus on the diseases within the agency’s scope, sharing advances and prospects in four areas:

  • preparation and prevention,
  • detection and control in the face of emergencies,
  • research in times of crisis
  • and innovation to transform diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.

This major event will be an opportunity to highlight the vital need for international collaboration and provide a forum for exchange and inspiration.

A particular focus will be on the new generation of researchers through the promotion of our agency’s Start program and network. The 2025 scientific days will thus be preceded by a day dedicated to the Start network on March 31, 2025.

Events during the two days

The 2025 Scientific Days will be an opportunity to highlight the new generation of scientists and to promote the agency’s activities on the international stage. A range of scientific events and presentations will punctuate the two-day conference.

The programme includes:
  • A poster area: dedicated to promoting the new generation of scientists in the ANRS MIE Start network, this area will showcase their work and contributions. Download information on the call for posters here
  • A Start network exchange corner: an interactive space designed for young researchers, with presentation and discussion sessions to encourage meetings, exchanges and sharing of experience. [Detailed programme to follow].
  • An interactive screen: designed to help you discover the ANRS MIE’s international initiatives and actions, this tool will plunge you into the heart of the agency’s global strategy.
