As part of the annual meetings of the ‘Host–virus interactions: basic and translational research on HIV’ coordinated action (AC41), its ThéGéVec working group is organising its second symposium on the theme: ‘Shaping the future of gene therapy with new vectors’.

The symposium will take place on 26 January 2027 at the Institut Pasteur, Paris.

Registration is open until 31 December 2026.

The ‘Host–virus interactions: basic and translational research on HIV’ coordinated action (AC41) of ANRS MIE, is excited to announce its second symposium of its ThéGéVec working group, marking another key milestone for this newly established working group focused on advancing research in vectorology, gene and cellular therapy.

This event will be held in person on January 26, 2027 at Institut Pasteur.

The symposium will bring together leading experts and researchers to discuss the latest innovations in viral and nonviral vector technologies and their therapeutic applications. The thematics will include immunotherapy, gene therapy, and fundamental aspects of vector biology. Special emphasis will be placed on fostering collaboration within the scientific community and exploring new strategies for accelerating progress in the field of HIV cure.

Research from all these areas and which could be of potential interest for development of curative treatments of infectious diseases is welcome.

Registration to attend closes on December 31. The symposium is free to attend, but registration is mandatory (in-person event only).

Abstract submission deadline: October 15.
