Launch of the 4th call for projects for the PEPR MIE

As part of the “Emerging Infectious Diseases and Nuclear, Radiological, Biological and Chemical Threats” ” (SA MIE MN), supported by the France 2030 plan, the ANRS MIE leads the “Emerging Infectious Diseases” Priority Research Programme and Equipment (PEPR MIE), which supports research into emerging infectious diseases.

The PEPR MIE’s 2026 call for projects follows on from previous calls by giving priority to supporting projects with strong translational potential and concrete prospects for operational application in the face of emerging infectious threats. This focus applies to the development of both medical and non-medical countermeasures.

The 2026 call has a provisional budget of €10.4 million. It targets large-scale research projects lasting 2 to 3 years with a minimum funding request of €1 million. Multidisciplinarity and inter-institutional collaborations will be strongly encouraged to foster the emergence of ambitious and transformative projects

Please note: The scientific priorities have been clarified. Please read the guidelines carefully (available below).
