Generic call for proposals HIV/AIDS, STIs, viral hepatitis and tuberculosis (2025-2)

The ANRS MIE is launching the first session of its biannual call for proposals. This call for proposals concerns funding requests for projects, initiation contracts and research grants.

New: research priorities for 2025

This year the ANRS MIE has included in its generic call for proposals research priorities targeting specific and evolving themes, with the aim of mobilising additional efforts to advance knowledge on these subjects considered to be of major importance.

These priorities target research in France and in the PRFIs on :

• prevention of mother-to-child transmissionof HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis and congenital syphilis;
• screening, non-vaccinal bio-medicalprevention and non-biomedical prevention of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections;
• the cure for HIV/AIDS and HBV and HDV infections;
• new therapeutic approaches for tuberculosis;
• implementation and scaling-up of interventions.

Call for proposals Conferences and Publications (2025-2)

The ANRS MIE supports the organisation of conferences and scientific events, as well as the publication of books, throughout its scope, whether in basic, translational or clinical research, in public health or in the humanities and social sciences.

Conferences and scientific events for which a contribution from ANRS MIE is requested must be organised by personalities from outside the agency.

The call for proposals for Conferences and Publications covers all of the Agency’s thematic areas:

• all research into HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), viral hepatitis and tuberculosis, including research into their co-infections;
• research into emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, in particular arboviroses, respiratory viruses and viral haemorrhagic fevers.

Call for proposals Emergences PRFI

For the third year running, the ANRS MIE is launching its ‘Emergences PRFI’ call for proposals, designed to support collaborative research projects between French teams and research teams based in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

This call for proposals targets projects on emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases.

Timetable

• 12 December 2024 – 12 March 2025.
