First seminar of the coordinated action “Basic and translational research on viral hepatitis”

The essential
- As announced at the National Hepatitis Network (RNH) meeting, the first seminar of the ANRS MIE’s coordinated action “Basic and translational research on viral hepatitis” (CA 42) will take place on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at the Inserm headquarters in Paris.
- This seminar will be open to the entire scientific community involved in research on viral hepatitis.
A theme: the immune response
The theme of the day will be ‘The immune response to infection by viral hepatitis viruses, with a view to studying the antiviral response and elimination of the virus’.
The adaptive immune response will be particularly targeted, as will the innate response. However, the study of virus-induced pathogenesis will not be part of the scope of this meeting.
The aim of this seminar is to take stock of programmes that have already been launched or are in gestation, with a view to structuring programmes on a national scale.
