ANRS MIE (Emerging Infectious Diseases) is an autonomous agency of Inserm that facilitates, evaluates, coordinates and funds research into HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, sexually transmitted infections, tuberculosis and emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases. We prepare responses to the scientific challenges posed by emerging diseases and ensure their deployment in times of crisis.

The ANRS MIE and its French and Togolese partners are laying the foundations of a PRISME platform in Togo, an ambitious and unifying partnership.
During the Journées Francophones de Virologie held in Lyon from 23 to 25 April 2025, the ANRS MIE and the Société française de virologie awarded three prizes for theses in basic research on emerging and re-emerging viruses.
After the success of the 2023 and 2024 editions, a new call for projects in the context of the PEPR MIE is opened 02 May - 30 June 2025.
